Student & Faculty Reservations

Advanced Equipment Approval Form (Production Faculty Only)
For new users, please read the reservation guides available on the COM Labs website.
Software: Unless otherwise listed all labs above are Mac based and have the following primary applications: Final Cut Pro X, The full Adobe CS6 Master Suite, Apple Aperture, and Adobe Lightroom. All labs and workstations on the 3rd floor also have Avid Media Composer. Only labs in the basement and 2nd floor have printers.
Student Reservation Policies:
Please arrive promptly to your scheduled pick-up time as reservations are automatically canceled after 30 minutes, after which the equipment becomes available for use by others. Edit workstations student reservations expire after 15 minutes. (Faculty edit reservations do not expire.)
FPS Equipment reservations are to be used for assigned COM coursework only. FPS reserves the right to limit or cancel reservations if students are found to be using gear for "personal" projects.
Unless otherwise stated, equipment may be reserved for up to 3 days per week, including weekends. Student reservations may be made up to 14 days in advance. Post-production workstation limits vary by room or lab.
Students may reserve equipment for pickup between 9am and 4:30pm, Monday through Friday. Faculty reservations are between 8:15am and 8:45pm.
Fees and Fines:
Fines for late equipment returns are as follows: $10 for late returns after the time printed on the reservation agreement plus $10/day for each day the equipment is late. After 30 days the borrower will incur rental charges based on current industry rates.
A cleaning fee of $5 will be added to any equipment that is not returned in proper order.
Students are prohibited from making additional reservations/pickups until any charges are paid. Please see COM's Technology Director, Brad Fernandes, in COM room 102 (next to MPS studio) to discuss your account and pay any amount due.
Field Production Services Information:
Hours of operation (Fall/Spring Semesters): 8am to 7pm, Monday to Friday.
Hours of operation (Summer): 9am-5pm, Monday to Friday
Closed on University Holidays and when classes are not in session.
